FAQs

What is a podcast?

If you haven't delved into the world of podcasts before now, you are in for a real treat.  Podcasts are essentially online radio programs.  And the reason they're so great is because you can listen to them while you're working on your farm - even on your tractor!  They come in a variety shapes and sizes, and cover a variety of topics, but they all can be accessed online or through a mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).

What is the Farmer to Farmer Podcast?

The Farmer to Farmer Podcast is an online radio program for farmers by farmers.  Chris is a veteran farmer and educator who draws on over 25 years of experience to get at the big ideas and practical details that go into making a farm work.  Whether his guests are discussing employment philosophies or the best techniques for cultivating carrots, his down-to-earth conversations with experienced farmers - and the occasional non-farmer - will be time well spent.  The Farmer to Farmer Podcast provides a fresh and honest look at everything from soil fertility and record-keeping to getting your crops to market without making yourself crazy.

How do I listen to it?

There are several ways to listen to the podcast.  You can listen to it directly from the Farmer to Farmer website or weekly newsletter, but we suggest that you subscribe to it through a feed - iTunes, Stitcher (for Android users), or RSS - so you never miss an episode.

Should I leave a review?

Yes, please!  Your ratings make a tremendous difference in our ability to reach a wider audience - which not only makes great content available to more people, but helps us out, as well.

How do I leave a review on iTunes?

iTunes has complete directions for leaving podcast reviews using your computer or your mobile device at this link.
